Spicy Peruvian Green Sauce(Aji Verde) is quick and easy to make in just 5 minutes, and full of bright, zesty, and spicy flavors! It will amp up anything you drizzle it on!! It’s dangerously addicting and I’m obsessed with this sauce, every time I go to Peruvian restaurant I bring back extra sauce.
Spicy Peruvian Green Sauce(Aji Verde)Course: Mexican & Latin, Sauces
½ cup mayonnaise
1.5 cups lightly packed fresh cilantro
2 Serrano pepper
2 fat cloves garlic
1 tsp lime juice
1 tsp distilled white vinegar
1 tbsp EVO oil
1 tablespoon Aji Amarillo paste optional
salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Combine all ingredients except mayonnaise in a blender or food processor.
- Blend on until smooth. Add mayonnaise and blend until smooth!
