Hibachi Style Fried Rice

Hibachi Style Fried Rice

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 TBS Butter

  • 2 TBS oil

  • 3 cups cooked Brown Rice- TJ’s frozen pack

  • 1/4 cup frozen edamame thawed

  • 1 small white onion diced

  • 4 garlic cloves minced

  • 1 Zucchini, sliced & cut in half

  • 2 med Carrots, sliced & cut in half

  • 1 cup broccoli floret

  • 3 TBS Soy Sauce

  • 1/2 tsp hoisin sauce

  • 1.5 TBS sriracha

  • 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a bowl mix soy sauce, hoisin, sriracha, sesame oil and lime juice.
  • On the wok heat 2 tablespoons oil over high heat. Add the onion and sauté́ 2-3 minutes until translucent. Add garlic, and vegetables lower to medium and continue turning to prevent sticking. Add 2 tablespoons of mixed sauce and cook until vegetables are soft.
  • Remove cooked veggies from the pan. In same pan add butter. Add cooked rice, rest of the mixed sauce and cook for a min. Add vegetables and sauté’ for about 2-3 minutes, constantly stirring until everything is well blended!! You can garnish with some toasted sesame seeds and ENJOY!!
