Hibachi Style Fried RiceCourse: MainCuisine: Asian, Japanese
2 TBS Butter
2 TBS oil
3 cups cooked Brown Rice- TJ’s frozen pack
1/4 cup frozen edamame thawed
1 small white onion diced
4 garlic cloves minced
1 Zucchini, sliced & cut in half
2 med Carrots, sliced & cut in half
1 cup broccoli floret
3 TBS Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp hoisin sauce
1.5 TBS sriracha
1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp lime juice
- In a bowl mix soy sauce, hoisin, sriracha, sesame oil and lime juice.
- On the wok heat 2 tablespoons oil over high heat. Add the onion and sauté́ 2-3 minutes until translucent. Add garlic, and vegetables lower to medium and continue turning to prevent sticking. Add 2 tablespoons of mixed sauce and cook until vegetables are soft.
- Remove cooked veggies from the pan. In same pan add butter. Add cooked rice, rest of the mixed sauce and cook for a min. Add vegetables and sauté’ for about 2-3 minutes, constantly stirring until everything is well blended!! You can garnish with some toasted sesame seeds and ENJOY!!
